Performing Hajj once at a specific time of the year is an obligation for those who are able to execute it. The process of Hajj is quite long and hectic as well. It involves a number of different steps to follow in a sequence. Any mistake in the performance of Hajj can invalidate your Hajj. That’s why Muslims are required to take special care of all their rituals and execute them with care and consideration. The Hajj commences with its intention and wearing Ihram in a proper manner. Upon entering the Haram Sharif Muslims circulate around Kaaba and perform Tawaf while reciting Talbiyah. Then they move towards Safa and Marwa for the enactment of Sa’i. Then the pilgrims stop at Mina and pray there. After that, they go towards Mount Arafat and stay there until dusk. Then they proceed to Muzdalifah and tend to collect stones there. They return to Mina and throw stones on Devil at the three pillars of Jamarat. In the end, Pilgrims sacrifice an animal in the remembrance of the sacrifice of Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) for His son Ismail (A.S). Moreover, pilgrims end their Hajj with Tawaf Al-Wida. Undoubtedly, it is a life-changing moment for many Muslims as it makes them pure like a newborn baby.
